Not 72 hours ago, I (kid you not) was thinking “Kathie Lee Gifford hasn’t been on tv in forever. Know what? I don’t miss her one bit!” Now I hear she’s going to join the Today show. I don’t watch the Today show, but still….#$%!

I had a dream last night about American Idol. I think perhaps that’s a sign that I need to read more. Or maybe it’s just a sign that I’m a kick-ass American! (Should kick-ass even be hyphenated? Jesus, I do need to read more.)

My cat is the best. Why, you ask? Because she hardly even complains when I give her a Softclaws manicure. Also, just look at how cute she is with them on:

Granted, I’m not sure you can even tell that she has them on in this picture since she’s wearing the clear version, but she’s still cute.

If there is such a thing as an anti-adrenaline junkie, I think that’s me. My first clue was my complete lack of interest in anything, well, adrenaline pumping. My second clue was my extreme interest in anything involving, well, laying. My third clue was how jealous I got of my cat when I thought about her daily routine. Come weekend time, I like to think “What would kitty do?” To that goal, here is how I spent my Saturday:

10:00 AM - Roll out of bed.
10:03 AM - Roll onto couch.
5:00 PM - Go back to bed.
5:30 PM - Attempt to get up.
5:31 PM - Find myself laying down on the office floor.
5:31:30 PM - Realize the office floor is considerably less comfortable than my bed.
5:32 PM - Back to bed. Nap time!
7:00 PM - Wake up. Move to couch.
9:00 PM - Go for a run. (I’m including this because I believe it may quite possibly make the difference between me being a laziness junkie and being a relaxation junkie).
10:00 PM - Return to couch. Tell C that it’s time for me to “fully relax”.

Talk about a good day!

I recently watched an episode of What Not to Wear. As if admitting that wasn’t hard enough for me, I’m about to admit something even more horrifying. My clothes are frightening similar to what the unsuspecting daycare worker wore before she was ambushed by Stacy and Clinton - from the fuzzy scarfs to the frumpy shoes to the favorite pair of not-so-flattering jeans. *Shudder*
